e-IRGSP2 e-IRG Support Programme 2
The e-Infrastructure Reflection Group Support Programme 2 (e-IRGSP2) project provides a comprehensive support framework to the work of the e-Infrastructure Reflection Group (e-IRG).
The e-IRGSP2 is supported by the European Commission through the 7th Framework Programme. The project started on the 1st of January, 2008 and will last three years (2008 - 2010). The e-IRGSP2 builds on the foundation established by the previous support action (e-IRGSP) and expands the support services in order to maximise the socioeconomic impact of the e-IRG activities.
The e-IRGSP2 project partners are:
- CSC - IT Center for Science (project coordinator)
- NCF - The Netherlands National Computing Facilities foundation (part of the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research)
- ETL - Emergence Tech, Limited (a consulting company specialized in technology transfer in the area of IT and Grid Computing)
- GRnet - The Greek Research and Education network
- AUEB-RC - The Athens University of Economics and Business - Research Center
- Genias BV (a company that publishes the "Enter the Grid" directory)
- PSNC - Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center
