 D5.1 gives an overview of the current and potential new stakeholders of the e-IRG. It also presents opportunities and strategies for engagement of the e-IRG with the key stakeholders. In this way it supports the liaison activities of the e-IRG.

 D5.2 gives an overview of the background and the procedure used for the first eIRG Knowledge Base survey. The results of the survey are presented and analysed in detail and a set of prioritised recommendations is listed.

D3.4 presents the dissemination and outreach activities carried out in 2009 by the e-IRGSP2 dissemination team to support the   e-Infrastructure Reflection Group (e-IRG). It also seeks to measure the impact of these activities, and sets a refined plan of dissemination activities for the next 12 months.

In the second year of the e-IRGSP2 project, Work Package 4 pursued a two-pronged approach. First, an extensive overview of technology regulation, and its potential impacts on e-Infrastructure was acarried out. Secondly, a comprehensive study of financial aspects of e-Infrastructures was initiated, in particular a survey of capital and operating costs of grid infrastructures in Europe, trying to establish general results on the cost of such infrastructures. For presentation purposes, the results are published as two separate documents. Document e-IRGSP2_D4.2.a contains results of the first activity, while document e-IRGSP2_D4.2b contains the progress along the second activity.
